web access for Pocket PC

hi,

I like to find out the minimum requirement or versions of
the Exchange server that can allow me to access emails via
a PDA..

I tried it on Exchange 5.5, I managed to log in to my
inbox but i cannot open up the file in there.. May i know
the reason and how to resolve it?
