web access - ports blocked?

I can access web interface from inside our LAN. From outside, I enter
Project server URL and get login prompt, enter login info, and progress bar
starts to move across, but then bar starts over and then "page cannot be
displayed". Port 80 is open on firewall and shows a hit for my attempt, so
either something's still not right on the server, or there's another port to
be opened...?

I am having the same issue of PWA accessible within the LAN but cant be accesed even though the machine has a live IP, can anybody let me know which ports PWA uses.

i had not yet. i just now looked up how to do that and it seems it's a
Sharepoint configuration. i guess thats fine - sharepoint is of course
installed - but is it linked to project server? i'm sorry i just dont know
enough about either.

i just got into the configuration and have entered what i believe to be the
right URLs, but the "Save" button is still grayed out. what i've entered in
Sharepoint Central Admin. is this:

Default: http://<hostname>/pwa
Internet: http://<server external FQDN>/pwa

apparently the other fields are optional. any ideas? thanks in advance.
