I understand there is a way to access my work email from
another computer going through the web. And, this is
supposed to be for Free. Can anyone out there point me
in the right direction to start using this? Thanks

There are many ways to do this.

1) You can, if your admin has setup the correct privileges, just telnet into
the mail server and read your mail.
2) If your mail admin has setup some webmail service you can access it thay
way.
3) If you run mail from an Exchance Server - MS has their own web interface.
This interface will also allow you to access your contacts and schedule.

You should contact your mail admin.
