Web Access - Viewing Tasks

We installed our server and Project Professional 2003.
The Project Web Access page works well as long as we are
accessing the server on our LAN.
When we try and remotely connect to the server the Project
Web Access home page appears normally. However, when you
click on 'tasks' it never displays the tasks but starts
downloading and eventually goes back to the Project Web
Access Home page.
In other words, my resources can not see their task lists
while they are on the road and trying to remotely enter
our LAN - it works great when they are at the home office.

Best to reask in the microsoft.public.project.server NG where the
experts on this hang out.

Sounds like maybe a firewall issue? Also, isn't this what the Project
Server External Connector is supposed to do?
