Hi i'm looking for a 3rd party web based time tracking software to work with
Project 2003 server.

I have linux developers that need to be able to submit their time sheets.

Hi jojo,

I am working with a timesheet at present from Replicon.
http://www.replicon.com/

you will have to be careful when setting it up, but it does let you do
typical time entry things
Hope this helps

Jojo, I assume that you are aware that Project Server has a time entry
facility build in. Should this not suite you you can check the replicon one

What do you consider the drawbacks to the time entry facility in
Project Server to be?

Why is it that a third party timesheet solution is required.

Journyx.com has a timesheet that is web-based and the server can be
linux. It's free for the first 10 users. Integration w/ MS Project is
an extra charge, and with Quickbooks.

Marc, yea i realize that it has a time entry facility built in. But i
looked at the spec and the web client is only meant for IE which means my
Linux developers won't be able to use it.

Well, like i said in my other post, it is because i have linux developers
and the spec says i need IE to run the web accesss part.
