It appears that, due to security concerns, Word 2007 does not support
creating a web page with forms. In previous versions, I'd add a control to a
page (in web view), and a top-of-form and bottom-of-form would appear. That
no longer happens.
Here's my problem: I open a web page created with Word 2003. The page
contains a button control (of type "HTMLSubmit"), which acts as the submit
button of a form on this page. The button has an "action" property, which
needs to be changed (the web address it points to needs to be modified). I
change the contents of the action property, save the page, reopen it, and the
changes are gone.
Is there a work-around for this in Word 2007? (I suspect not, and that this
behavior is by design.)
Thanks,
Chris
