Web Form not in line

L

Lakkie

I've tried all sorts of ways to create my web forms. I have even used a
template. But every time I view my website, the form is totally distorted. In
other words, I have the actual form control labels at the bottom of the
screen, while my text labels are all over the place. I've grouped everything
and tried putting it in a table. Nothing seems to work. Can you please help
me?

Table didn't work?
Post a link to the form page so people can help.

If you are using "Table" in the literal sense, then that won't work.
Inserted "Tables" are converted to images in Publisher web pages.

It sounds like you are doing something wrong in the layout of your form
controls and labels, but sorry to say, it is impossible to tell you what.
Perhaps pull all but one form control and label off into the scratch area,
and test doing a web preview. If that part of the form lines up correctly,
then drag the other parts of the form back onto the page, one at a time,
testing as you go.

Perhaps you will need to delete what you have done and start over with the
form. Before doing that, type "forms" in Help in Publisher and read the
information about creating a pre-designed web form, about assigning labels
and values to form controls, creating form controls, etc. Then as you build
the form, test the layout by doing a web preview, and perhaps run the Design
Checker.
