Web Host Recommendations?

I've read a number of posts on this site that indicate it can be difficult to
be happy with a web host. I'm in the same position now, and am looking for
recommendations for a Web Hosting Company with:
1. FrontPage Server Extensions running on Windows
2. ASP (so that FP's Database Results feature will work)
3. MS Access support (to store form submissions)
4. Multiple Domain accounts (web hosting and email)
5. File | Open Web in FrontPage capability
6. Decent support
7. Hosting that actually works

I appreciate any recommendation, except for the following hosts which do not
meet some of the above criteria (as noted):
A. Go Daddy (#7: problems with forms, as mentioned in this forum)
B. Host Gator (#1, #2)
C. MidPhase (#1, #2)
D. LunarPages (#2: $3 per domain)
E. BlueHost (#2)
F. Dot5Hosting.com (#5)
G. iPower.com (#5)
H. PowWeb.com (#5)
I. ResellersPanel.com (#2)
J. occhosting.com (#2)
K. startlogic.com (#5)
L. Fat Cow (#2)
M. CrystalTech (#4: only applies to web hosting; email is $60/year per
domain)
N. Arendkay (#6: no response to pre-sales inquiry)
O. EasyCGI (#4)
P. inmotionhosting.com (#2, #3)
Q. fastdomain.com (#2, #3)
R. alentus.com (#4: a bit expensive at $80/month for 12 domains)
S. BlueGenesis (#4)
T. InfoQuest (#6: no online support documents or tutorials)
U. Brinkster (#4: requires complex global redirect script - KB108075)
If anyone has had experiences to the contrary with these hosts, feel free to
comment.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

I use webhost4life (http://www.webhost4life.com) who support asp.net,
asp, php, and Perl, with Access, mySQL and SQL Server, and FrontPage
Extensions - though email and search using the extensions are not
supported. All 7 of your requirements are supported.

One for your list to avoid is easyspace.com - support is almost
non-existent.

Can you explain #4?

I use CrystalTech and have had no problems with the 5 domains of sites &
email I host there

I have been with Infoquest since 1997, as well as most of my clients.

Thanks for your reply Mike.

According to CrystalTech's website, their $16.95/month "Intermediate" plan
supports 25 "Domain Pointers".
http://www.crystaltech.com/dotnet.aspx

Click the "Domain Pointers" link and you will see a message which includes,
"Domain pointers, also referred to as extra domains... Extra domains do not
include mail accounts, but 250 accounts may be added for an additional $5
monthly charge."
http://www.crystaltech.com/popups/domains.htm

I interpreted the above statements to mean for $16.95/month they will host
websites on 25 domains, but email is not included for extra domains, meaning
you get (e-mail address removed), but you have to pay an extra $5/month for
(e-mail address removed) through (e-mail address removed).

$21.95/month puts them on the high side of providers, but if your experience
with them has been terrific, I'd consider them.

Kind regards, Max

What exactly are you trying to do?

Domain Pointers are basically for mirroring 1 'physical' web as many- and
would be used for having multiple 'typed in' websites looking at the same
information. The email addresses for them can also be mirrored.

Scenario...
Real domain: Fruits.com
Pointed1: Banana.com
Pointed2: Cherry.com

So anyone that goes to Banana.com will really be going to fruits.com (or can
be scripted to a directory inside).
mirrored email suport (no cost) would have (e-mail address removed) redirected to
(e-mail address removed)
