Web layout size

I am new to building a website. I am using Microsoft
Publisher Delxue 2002 on windows 98. I have used a
website template to create my website. When I go to
preview the website in the browser it is not the same size
as the browser. I have a large margin on the right side.
Does anyone know how to change the size to fit the
browser? Thanks for the help.
