Web Page Design Software?

I haven't developed a web site for over two years now but now I've been
asked to do another one and was wondering if I could get some suggestions on
any good software. I remember using Front Page but didn't really care for
all the extra tags that were constantly added. I'd like to add in some drop
down menus and the ability to search the site. ANY IDEAS?
