I have designed and published a web page using Microsoft FrontPage 2002. I
am having great difficulty get the page to view properly in the two
resolutions most commonly used: that is, 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768.

I designed the web page in 800 x 600 resolution, but when I view it in 1024
x 768, it does not view satisfactorily. What can I do to get the page to
view correctly in both resolutions? What is normally the default resolution
for a web page>

All of my tables are set at 100%.

Would you please look at my web site at www.villagechurchofchrist.org and
view it in both 800x600 and 1024x760 and let me know if this is the way web
page should display.

Thanks for your help.

I forgot to say that some of my cells are set in pixels widths. All tables,
however, have there widths set to 100%.

The white letters (name, address & telephone number) on your red *image* are
a bit blurred. You may want to consider deleting the *image* and re-doing
it in FrontPage since it does not having any graphical logo that you would
need to duplicate. Deleting the *image* would also make the page load
quicker.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try your suggestion. I'm not sure how to get
the textured background using FrontPage. The graphic was created in Adobe
PhotoShop. I know I can create the red stripe in FrontPage, but I don't know
how to create the texture. Can I do that?

Also, does the home page display correctly in 800x600 and 1024x760? I'm
concerned that the page has a lot of white space on the right-hand side when
my monitor is set for 1024x760. It displays with the right margins when I
view it with my monitor set to 800x600.

Thanks for the help.

*IF* you have the *red texture image* (.jpg or gif) you can use it in
FrontPage.
1. Insert a 1 row/1 column TABLE to hold your name, address and telephone
number
2. After inserting *TABLE* enter the church name, then <Shift+Enter> to go
to next line
3. Then enter Address <Shift+Click> to get to next line and then telephone
number
4. To add *red texture*, select the table, *right click* and select *table
properties*
under *background*, click *browse* and then locate the *red texture
image*

Hope this makes sense........Good Luck!

Annette,
I see that you have removed the *red texture image* header and added a red
background with white letters using FrontPage. Looks much better...good
job!
