Web Page, Filtered as Default

I have several users using Word 2007 to work on existing HTML pages with a
..htm extension. I need for them to be able to save as Web Page, Filtered
instead of Web Page just by hitting CTRL-S or File > Save instead of having
to choose File > Save As and choosing Web Page, Filtered from the drop down.
Is this possible? Right now, if you hit CTRL-S it automatically saves it as
a Web Page with the extra code, etc. This is really problematic when they
put it in the database. Thanks.

Hi Brian,

Have you set Web Page, Filtered as the default file type under
Office Button=>Word Options=>Save ?

Unless you're intercepting the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl+S (not advised) that should use the selected default file format on *new*
documents, but it won't 'switch' to a different one once the file is saved. In that case Ctrl+S saves changes into an open file in
its present format.
