web page in Outlook does not share session info with new windows

It looks like Outlook 2003 does not share .net session cookies between 2
browser windows. I set a logon page of my .NET - based web app as a folder
home page and .net session info is not available in windows popped from
inside the application window, can anybody provide any info ?
