Web Page Movies

Panther 10.3.3. Word 10.1.4 (030701)

How do I get a movie to play when I save a Word file as a web page? The
resulting .htm file opens in either Explorer 5.2.3 or Safari 1.2.1 (v125.1),
but all I see is the poster frame that I gave to the movie. There is no
controller bar.

When I do this, it does the same as you saw: takes the poster frame and
puts that in place of the movie. If you look in the HTML code, it is
nothing more than an IMG tag. It will be completely static.

There may be some hidden option to tell Word to allow links to movies,
but my guess is if there were one it would be right next to the option
to tell Word to allow PNG files. You will probably need to edit the HTML
file using a web editor and re-insert the movie(s) yourself.
