Web page preveiw is distorted but ok on line csn anyone help?

I am using Publisher to make and run a Web page on MSN. Up till now I could
view any new stuff or alterations by using preview web page, however this has
suddenly stopped working and when I use this facility It show the page as all
over the p[lace. On line when I put it on MSN it is all OK. I would like
this to work again because if there are any errors it shows up without my
having to upload the amendments. Does this make any sense? I do use a
little bit of html and as it has to be so exact it would save a lot of wasted
time. I have not done anything different except changing the page size but I
have done this before, I would appreciate any help.

Maybe you should post the URL to the offending page so we can see what
you're talking about.

My Page is :[email protected] However the problem is not
with that it is fine it is just when making pages in "Publisher" and using
the facility for Web page preview. I am not very technical but it is
probably something easy I need to do, I can manage by uploading my page and
if it is incorrect then I just change it and upload again, but it would be
much better if the preview worked!!! Thanks--

Antonio,

Never heard of this problem before...don't you feel special? ;-)

Have you done an automatic Microsoft update recently? You might uninstall
that.

Perhaps run the Design Checker under Tools, and see if it finds something
wrong. Perhaps you have a design element extending into the scratch area?

Do you have an older backup version of your file that you can test? If it
just started I would suspect the most recent addition of HTML...double check
that.

Another thing you could try is to Publish to the Web, and direct your output
to a folder on your hard drive. Then browse to that folder, and double click
the index.htm file, and see if that opens ok in the browser.

One other thought...I have had the design elements of a Publisher page
"distorted" in terms of spacing on my Publisher page, when I changed the
size. I worked around that by grouping all the elements, and pasting them
onto a larger blank page, that I created in a second instance of Publisher.

Like I said, this is a new one...let us know if anything works, and what you
try.
