I am on a Macintosh, OS 10.4.7
I created a chart in Excel X. You can view it here:
http://www.ac.wwu.edu/~stephan/USfatalities.html
When I open that chart using Excel 2004,and do File > Web Page Preview,
it shows up okay but there are a few anomalies.
The three-line text box in the lower left of the chart itself is
"ragged" along the right-hand side. The number at the end of the
bottom line is truncated. As I write this the number shown is "2.4".
Under the new version of Excel the "upright" in the number "4" is
missing.
Also the graph line, bold red in Excel X, is a light red line in Excel
2004. Same with all the text identifying the points on the line: what
was bold blue is very weak blue.
Anyone got any clues why this is? I'd hate to keep the old version of
Excel just to update this graph, but I will if I have to. I'm curious
why I have to.
