Web page template back to publisher template

Hope I explain this properly.
My Grandpa uses Publisher 2000 (better for his eye sight)
All he does is card templates on it.
When he opens some and goes to page setup the options are for Webpage setup.
All the others and new card templates give card options when going to page
setup. Book fold etc.
I can only guess that somewhere along the line he has clicked something to
change some of his card designs to web page.
If it was me I would put it down to stupidity and do another template but he
is 96 and very stubborn.
He "knows" its nothing that he has done and says Microsoft must have
designed a reversal of this into the program.

So can anyone tell me if these templates that used to be card templates are
in some web page format - can they be changed back to their original card
format so he can print them.
Boy am I glad he only has Xp and not vista. lol I would be done there 24/7

Try a copy/paste special to a new publication. You can have more than one
instance of Publisher open.

Are the templates those he created himself? Are you sure they are templates and
not simply saved publications? Publisher will not let you save a template, you
have to do a save as... He may have inadvertently clicked *create web site from
current publication.*

Thanks for the reply. You are correct my terminology was wrong.
The "templates" are just his cards that he has made. Happy birthday, etc.
He is registered as blind, and finds it hard to see the screen and I am 100%
certain that he has clicked on something he should not have.
But trying to tell him that is impossible. The computer has done it or me,
if I am the last person to touch it lol.
He was hoping for an undo button to revert back. The cut/copy and paste
option seems to be his only option then. oh well that means another trip for
me.
Thanks again
