Web pages as .jpg images????

Hi,

First of all a confession, I know absolutely nothing about Publisher.

A friend of mine sent me some "Web pages" which have a file extension
of jpg. I'm to update these pages as soon as my copy of Publisher
arrives and publish them back to the Web. The jpg images are exact
replicas of the Web pages I'm to update, including all the text, but
shouldn't these have been html files, or does Publisher work directly
with jpg images when it publishes to the Web? Thanks.

Sal,

He will need to send you the original Publisher files, which can be a tad
large. Publisher produces simple static webpages, and all changes are done
in the original Publisher files, and then new code is produced rather than
editing the old code. He could send you all the HTML output and supporting
folder all zipped together, but then the original Publisher file would not
reflect the change.
