Web Parts without Sharepoint

Chris Clement

We have Project Server 20003, but without Sharepoint and we are trying to
make some fields in Project Web Access (specifically task percent complete)
updatable in the web part. So I have two questions about this:

1) Every example of using web parts that I have seen involves Sharepoint,
but the sdk help file seems to imply that Sharepoint is not required. If
that is true, is there some documentation for configuring web parts without
using Sharepont?

2) If I can get to the web parts, is it possible to change the
configuration so that some fields are updatable (such as task percent
complete) in Project Web Access?

Thanks.

You probably need to repost on the server group. My understanding is that to
use Project Web access at all you have to have SharePoint installed as PWS
is a SharePoint site.

Check how PWA has been configured because admin may have set updating to
update by duration or hours daily only. Only if update by % complete is
allowed can you do it.
