web query from access

Hi,

I'm trying import or link to a csv file that is generated
from a cgi script on a webserver. This is not a static
file in a fixed location. Now, I can easily achieve this
in excel via the web query. Is there similar
functionality available in access.

I know that if the techies in our company ever find the
time they could give me odbc access directly to the
database, but until that time, my web based approach is my
only lifeline to the data.

Need more info if you want a better answer.
1. Access can import txt and csv files easily.
See TransferText in Help.

2. You cannot do it over http or ftp.
The file has to be on a LAN.

Thanks for the reply. I think you answered my question.

I was looking to achieve #2. As this is possible in Excel
using "web query", I was hoping that similar functionality
was available in Access.
