When issuing a web query and this query doesn't get a
correct response from the webserver Excel often stops
responding.
Sometimes it gives back an error message, telling it
couldn't connect or something like that, mostly it halts
and doesn't enter any errohandling loops. Only way to stop
it is to terminate Excel.
The query I'm running is simple, it collects goal-data in
fotball matches from this source:
http://www.svt.se/texttv/377.html (area Målservice)
Do there exist any simple fix for this or will I have to
write an own query timeout routine using classes, events
and an scheduled (OnTime) procedure?
