I want to store data which has been created in a form and form handler in a
table. Thus far I have created the form and arranged for the form handler to
send me text file via email. The book I am reading asks me to validate that
my server has FP extensions & data access components installed (which I am
doing) it goes on to say I can test my connection to a data base on my local
machine (assume that means the computer I am working on) provided I install
Office Web Server on 11S running in windows 2000 which will offer me all the
functionality I need. I am on win XP - where can I find the appropriate
Office Web Server or put another way what do i need to do to test my system
for storing data from a form on my lap top.

Thank you for taking a look at my question

You will need Windows XP Pro. If you have Windows XP Home then forget
testing on your laptop (it can be done if you know how to run and
configure Apache).
For XP Pro:
Install IIS and FrontPage 2000 extensions from
Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs->Add/Remove Windows Components
Tick IIS, and in details tick FP2000 server extensions, World Wide Web
Service, and IIS snap in.
Click Next to install.

Publish your disc based web to http://localhost/webname - choose your
own webname.

Open http://localhost/webname in FrontPage and edit your web.
