Web Service AND Access Database

I'm new to Infopath 2003. I need to create a form that the user fills out,
and one field gets submitted to a webservice for validation. The form should
receive the validation response from the web service and store the response
and the rest of the form's data to an Access database. It seems to be a
pretty common pattern, but I can't see how to accomplish it. Can it be done
without coding? If not, any suggestions as to how to code for it?
An extra detail is to offer the user a choice of continuing with the save to
the database if the Web Service response is that the submission was invalid.

Start designing your form template from database. Then add a secondary data
connection to the web service. On demand, set values in the main data source
to values returned from the web service. No code required.
