Web Service Purchase Order SDK sample - Access is denied

I'm new to InfoPath and am going through the Web Service Purchase Order
sample. I get the following error:
"Could not post document to http://localhost/POWebService/POWebService.asmx
-2147024891 - Access is denied."

Anyone know what could be the problem?

* The form populates Northwind data OK from the Sql server that I connect to
on another machine.
* I opened the PO_WS_PO.XSN form is design mode, then published it to
http://localhost/POWebService/PO_WS_PO.XSN, then opened the form from its
published location.
