Noticed another bug within Publisher 2003 Web Design PREPROGRAMMED
backgrounds.
Steps:
1.Click "FORMAT" on the top tool bar
2.Click "Background" from the drop down menu.
3.Near the bottom left of your display it should show "More backgounds"
click it.
4.The "Fill Effects" display appears.
5.Click "One Colour"
6.From the "Colour 1" pane pick any colour.
7.On the bottom left of the "Fill Effects" display panel. Cick "Vertical"
8.Four "Vairents" should be displayed. Choose/click the top left. (This
should be dark on one half and white on the other half.)
9.Now click the "ok" button.
10.Looks fine correct. WYSIWYG No it is not.
11.Now take the "Web Page Preview" option and/or "Preview your Web Site."
12.You will see that the BACKGROUND effect is not what you originally viewed
previously. Publisher 2003 replaced it with the other Variant example.
I found that this is the case for a number of the "Shading Variant" styles.
Cheers,
