web site page parameters

I'm real new to the computer age. I have made my first web page with front
page. The page resolution on the computer I designed this web on shows my
full page as I designed it. The problem is when I bring it up on other
computers the page only comes up as half and I have to scroll to see the
whole page. How can I reduce my resolution without affecting my page
contents.
