When I try to create a data access page in Access, I get
into a page view, not in a columnar format, and with 5,000
records, that doesn't work well. I try to do the Autopage
Columnar and it just ignores my request giving me a page
that looks like a form.
All I want is to show a read-only view of our Access
table on our intranet with search capability. I don't want
to have our viewers update the table. One person will be
updating the table within Access which we want to then
dynamically update the web page.
We also work with Front Page, and have tried some of their
wizards, but this did not work well, because the items
were not updating when we changed items in the table. Any
suggestions?
