Webpage hyperlink fails, target file changes to (..\and first 9 c.

During building of document Word crashed,ever since when I try to make a
hperlink in the Right pane, after typing in target file name and selecting
the Insert Hyperlink window closes, and when I try to test the link it won't
open. A return to the Insert Hyperlink window show the target file name is
now ..\Port 400 which is the beging file name of the overall Web document.
No matter wht I try the results are the same. Help!
