Webpages built with MicroSoft Publisher appear distorted on FireFo

[Why Weight]

I have built a fully functioning website using Microsoft Publisher. The name
of the website is www.whyw8.com and is PERFECT using Internet Explorer as the
browser. However, it is completely distorted when using FireFox as the
internet browser. Can you help me understand how I can fix this problem?

I don't think a site that has a horizontal scroll bar in a browser set
to 1028 can be described as PERFECT. However, I must admit I don't think
I've ever seen a site that is Soooooooooooooooooo different in Mozilla.
Perhaps it's because you have VML turned on (David F usually suggests
not using this). That might be a starting point.

Thank you, Mike. When I said the word "PERFECT" I was implying that it was
at least in some reasonable order on the website when using IE as the
browser. I apologize for using the wrong word. But, thanks for the tip. To
be honest, I never noticed the horizontal bar on some of the pages. The
horizontal line was placed there because of scripts I had written and placed
to the right of the web design palette. Thanks for the heads up.

Hummm...I didn't get the original message in this thread, just your reply.

You are correct. The OP needs to go to Tools > Options > Web tab and uncheck
"Rely on VML..." and "Allow PNG...". Also be sure to Publish to the Web,
and not Save As a web page.

I would also suggest that since the page content is built such that it can
be displayed on a 800 pixel wide screen, that the OP change the page setup
to the standard Wide. The padding will be filled by the background image
regardless of how big the screen is.
