Webservice with inheritance

i am trying to connect to a webservice tat provides search capabilities. This
particular webservice contains inheritance in the xml schema. I was surprised
that when i load the webservice as the datasource in design mode, infopath
misses many of the elements of the inherited types.

for example, if peopleSearch inherits from search, then the webservice can
accept search objects or peopleSearch objects but the infopath form only has
the data members for the search object. is there any way to get infopath to
recognize the inheritance in the webservice and provide all of the available
options?
in the example above, i would expect the search form to have the fields of
search as required fields and the field for peopleSearch as optional fields.

any help is appreciated

can one of the MSFT guys possibly address this question? If infopath is not
able to connect to a webservice which has inheritance in it's schema then i
need to look at other options right away.
