I'd like to have some of you Mac guru's (or other more rare systems) open my
site www.mikaylasolutions.com and let me know if you have any pointers to
resolve any issues that may occur on your end. It is built with FrontPage 03
as well as Adobe Photoshop. I created table backgrounds in Photoshop due to
it's far more sofisticated graphic manipulation and color pallette
capabilities. I also incorporated interative buttons from the FP 03 menu
throughout. That's my first question.

My second question is please confirm it loads each page at a relatively
normal speed. I am willing to take a little hit on load time if it allow me
to keep the interactive buttons but don't want it to be abnormally slow. It
loads fast on my system (I'm running a simple cable modem.) The target
market I'm interested in helping are small to medium business owners who I
expect will also probably be on cable, dsl or the like verses a dial up
situation.

Anyway, I greatly appreciate any comments you may have and look forward to
hearing from you soon.
Take Care,
Doug

Nice site - are there supposed to be links on this page? There are none
that I can see....I'm using IE 6.0 on a PC. Firefox shows "Intro",
"Accounting" and "Marketing". IE shows only "Intro" and "Accounting" It
seems the images are also out of place in relation to your hotspot/links.

Firefox displays all three images OK, along with the image swaps, and the
hyperlinks.

It degrades "gracefully" in IE 6. Perhaps you need alternative text links
to those pages....that's common practice these days.

In terms of page loading, it is very acceptable - around 15-30 sec for
dialup. For me, that's a very good load time.

Thanks I appreciate your response. If you are referring to only the home page:
http://www.mikaylasolutions.com
You should only see 3 interactive buttons at the bottom: Intro, Accounting,
& Marketing. These are interactive buttons that essentially are transparent
GIF's which is why you see a shadowing type effect from the background jpg
image. It is not the shadowing you're pobably used too, it is more of a
stair step affect on these buttons so it may appear that they are not lining
up. I'm confused on your IE 6 statement about not seeing the marketing
interactive button? I have IE 6 and I can see it perfectly. Is it possible
your window or screen viewing properties is turning it into a page you must
scroll on? I built it with the intent that at 1024x768 you can see most of
the key elements on a laptop size screen. So that is also what is stumping
me on your statement??? Please elaborate if possible.

If you didn't already, please click around the site and let me know is you
see any obvious issues and elaborate on the above.

Thanks - your time is valued beyond words.

Looks good.
Loads ok on vdsl connection.
You may want to remove spaces (they will appear as %20) from all your file
names though, while you're at it stick to lower case as well.

Pages load quickly for me as well. I haven't looked at every page but the
ones that I have viewed load quickly. On the home page I am seeing all three
links stair stepped at the bottom of the page as you mentioned. One thing I
did notice is when moving my mouse over the links on the home page that when
the help box opens there is no text in them. Maybe you already know that!

Nice looking site.

[snip]

It looks good and works on Firefox, Opera and IE6. I can see all three
of those links mentioned above.

Clicking around, I suffered a mild panic attack after clicking on
"Intro" when there appeared to be no obvious way out of the page back
to the home page, only onward to "Accounting" or "Marketing". Once out
of there, though, the mouseover links bar worked reassuringly well.

You might still like to do as many other designers do and add a
discreet plain text links bar, perhaps in subdued colours across the
foot of the page.

Finally, I'd much prefer the alternative spelling of "Categories"! :)
