Website preview

I created a single file website comprised of 8 pages in Publisher 2007. I
have IE8 and Vista. I copied the file to a disk and loaded it onto my work
laptop, which is exactly the same as my personal laptop. When I try to
preview the website, on the work laptop, I get the following error message:
"you do not currently have a browser program registered to show HTML (.HTM)
files)". How do I change the browser program register to show HTML files?

Sounds like you need to reassociate .htm files with whatever browser you are
using.

Assuming that you copied over the index.htm file and the index_files folder
from the first computer, right click the index.htm file > open with > choose
program. Find your browser in the list of recommended programs, and check
'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'.
