Week end dates and five day weeks

I need to show the week end date not the week commencement date in the GANTT
view. How do I get it to do that?

I also need to display only five day weeks. At present a task completing on
the Friday shows white space after its end but my client requires it to show
completion at week end.

Both requests seem sensible to me. Please help me.

Hi Tony,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I'm not sure I understand what you want, but in Tools/Options.../Calendar
tab you can only set the day on which the week starts, and you can choose
any day of the week.

You cannot remove the non-working days from the Gantt Chart as it is showing
a timeline like any other calendar. You can right click on the timeline and
select the non-working tab to make limited changes to the way that it is
presented..
