Week number

Week numbers 1, 2, 3, ....52 are in US format, how can I change this to
European format?

What is the European format of a week number?

Week number US start at first Sunday of the new year.
In Europe the first week is the week of 01 January.
In US 16April09 is in week 15, but for Europe this is week 16.

In Europe as elsewhere, the ISO 8601 standard says that the week #1 is that
which contains the first Thursday.

Hi Jan,

If I remember well, Project complies with the ISO week numbering since 2003
version. But I'm not sure...

Hi,

Recently, on the Dutch NG I had a poster who asked for a formula to
calculate the ISO number; he claimed that Project hadn't. Now I haven't
chcked it in detail..
