Hi I'm hoping someone out there can save my sanity. I'm a project
novice, I've set up a project, and assigned resources to it. Currently
I'm trying to work out how to export weekly hours information from
project such that I can import it to excel. I need the task id and the
number of hours that are planned to be worked for a given week, or the
current week, whichever is easiest. I don't need the resource names,
but I don't have a problem if they have to be there. The reason I want
these is because the actual hours are recorded in a separate system and
I would like to compare the actual hours booked against the number of
hours I expected to be booked, surely it should be simple or am I
living in a dream land?
I've tried saving a variety of views as Excel and creating a map to get
the information I need, the problem is I can't work out where the
information I need is buried or even if it has a name, the more I dig
the more confused I get.
Any and all help would be excitedly and overwhelmingly welcome.
