Weird Access 2000 behavior

I have been developing with MS Access for 8 yrs. I have a
number of databases deployed on various systems. Recently,
a front-end/back-end app that has been running smoothly
for c. 3 yrs. was installed on new Dell computers. All
came with Win2k Pro and upgraded to SP4 (as all other
clients on the enterprise), along with Access 2000 and
upgraded to SP3. ONLY the new boxes exhibit these
anomalies: the main form, which is a contact management,
continuous form, intermittenly displays '#Error' in 2 out
of 7 textboxes on the form. When the form is resorted or
refreshed, the databound controls display the correct
data.... has anybody seen this before? I have exhausted my
resources, along with forum searches, etc. I have
compacted, repaired, imported into new db container,
decompiled, rebuilt main form to no avail.

I would really love to hear from anybody who has seen this
before. thanks.

First thing I'd try is making sure that you've updated to the latest
versions of the Jet Database (Jet 4.0 SP8) available and that you update to
the latest version of MDAC (2.8) to make sure that you've got all the data
access components fully updated as well.

Steve,
Thanks for the response...I did forget to check the Jet
Engine updates and MDAC version...should have checked
those right away, too. Appreciate the reminder.
