My Database window “maximizes†and “minimizes†but when I click “restore†it
disappears. There are no vertical or horizontal scroll bars and it is nowhere
I can see on the screen.
(Access 97) I have gone to “View†/ “Toolbars†/ “Customizeâ€, selected
“Database†/ “Properties†window and clicked “Restore Defaultsâ€. The “Are
you sure …“ message appears and I click “Yesâ€. This does not correct the
problem (interesting).
This problem only occurs in this one database; other databases on my system
work correctly.
Because I move this database between different systems might have something
to do with the problem. The first time I noticed something unusual happened
in regard to this database window was when I had it on a system with a low
resolution monitor (600x800). The database was developed on a medium / high
resolution monitor (1024x768). The application opens with a “Splash†screen
and with the database window minimized. On the low resolution monitor system
the database widow would “restore†to the most low/right position and I’d
have to go scroll all the way down and to farthest right to retrieve it. I
now have it back on the high resolution system and the database window now
just disappears.
