Weird behaviour with MS Office Project

Hi,

I have a weird problem with getting the correct week number in the visual
reports in MS Office Project 2007. For instance - my project starts on the
25th of august (week 35) but when I select a report (Report->Visual
Reports->Baseline Work report) and choses "Weeks" as the level of usage data
- it appears like the project started on week 33. Somehow - the MS Project's
week calculation is 2 weeks behind? Is this a bug?

Thanks
Thomas

Look at Project/Project Information... then check the project start date.
Is it week 33 or week 35?

Hi Jim,

The date in project information said week 35!

Kind Regards

Hi Thomas,

I've just done a test with a project file starting on August 25th.
When I use the same visual report, I see week 35 as the starting
date.

I am using Project 2007 SP-1 and Infrastructure update. Are you
working with the service pack and infrastructure update? I do
recall odd dates with Project 2007 in the past, perhaps the
infrastructure update or the service pack fixed the problem.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie - you are a star! I've allready installed the SP1 but never heard
about the "Infrastructure update" but when I installed that my problem went
away...

I've been trying to solve this thing for weeks - thank you so much!

You're most welcome Thomas. I'm glad to know the infrastructure
update fixed your issue. Thanks for the feedback.
