Weird entourage system font size behavior

Hopefully somebody has an answer to this one. Just recently (within the
last week or two), my Entourage 2000 has been displaying some unexplainable
font behavior. The system font being used displays as a size bigger than
normal and is right-justified but only in certain fields. This happens with
the address fields for email messages and the subject line also (the font
will appear a size too big and will be right justified). Also, this
manifests in other entry fields for contacts and calendar entries. It also
shows up in buttons (e.g. when you open up the preferences, the "Cancel" and
"Ok" buttons are one font size bigger than they should be).

Can anybody help? I can close out Entourage and re-open and the system
fonts will be normal, but only for a few minutes before they revert to the
one-size-too-big, right justified version. Functionality is not affected or
degraded at all but it's driving me crazy.

Thanks in advance,
Mintak

There's no Entourage 2000. You mean 2004, yes?

It sounds like you have the bug that occurs with the Shutterfly plug-in
installed. Remove it, re-launch Entourage, and you should be OK.

Paul is right on this. If you have recently joined shutterfly and
downloaded their picture upload manager, you should know that the upload
manager cannot be used when on a computer with Entourage unless you're
willing to deal with the problem you now have.

There are other ways to get the pix to shutterfly. According to shutterfly,
they're "investigating the problem," but no news in months.

To remove the files, do the following:

In [Main Hard Drive]>Library>Internet Plug-Ins, remove the following:
* Shutterfly
* Shutterfly Plugin Agent

Log out, and then log back in again. Entourage should work fine.

Guys,

A similar font problem occurred for me a week ago with any HTML
messages in Entourage (Office 2004) . The text is squshed together and
every few words overlap making it very difficult to read mail. I had
upgraded to Tiger 104.2 about a week before this started (just about 2
weeks ago).

Having seen the post below about Shutterfly plug-ins, I looked to see
if I had that plug-in installed. I do not.

Any other possible solutions?

Thanks,
Eric
