Weird Error for Word/Excel

I have a user that is getting the following error, "The document name or
path is not valid". This is only when she tries to access files on the
network. But she only gets this error the first time she tries to open up
the document, if she OKs the error and tries to open the file again it opens
just fine. We are using MS Office XP.
