I recently installed MS Office 2003 Standard and have only one strange
problem: When I click Tools, Options, then the question mark (?) in
the upper right corner, a window opens that tells me that Office is
installing and configuring a new file(s). For the remainder of the
current session this file is in place and available immediately
whenever I need it. But if I close my program, then restart it,
clicking "Tools | Options | ?" will again reinstall the same file(s),
which is a big waste of my time. This problem is happening in both
Excel and Word, can anyone tell me how to fix it?
BTW - some of my other programs are also calling up the very same
Office windows, even though Office is not running and I have removed
the Office startup program out of my startup group . . . help!
