Weird indent in TOC entry "List of tables"

The "List of tables" entry in my Table of Contents (TOC) is strangely
indented. The online help describes how to modify paragraph formats
of the TOC entries for headings in my document (apparently styles TOC
1, TOC 2, ...); but the list of such styles does not include anything
that lookes like a style for the "List of tables" entry. How would
one go about correcting the style for the "List of tables" entry in
the TOC?
