I can't publish from my computer to my host's server; I always get a message
that "we80.cnf" can't be found or doesn't exist. I also can't publish from
my computer to host server using FrontPage as FTP. Won't accept any username
and password that I put in as correct. Even the one I use to open the host
site in FrontPage as I describe next.
However, IF I open my host site on the host server, THEN choose my desktop
site as the Remote location, and click Publish and stop the process before
it can overwrite all my desktop site changes, THEN choose publish from
Remote to Local, everything works.
Doing it this way though is a royal pain in the butt. How can I fix
whatever's keeping me from publishing from my computer to the host server in
the normal way?
Oh ... the host server has FrontPage 2002 extensions, and I've reinstalled
them several times to no avail.
Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks.
