Weird text formatting

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

When some people receive HTML emails from me the formatting is all messed up. It's like the leading has been removed and all the lines of text overlap. When I type the email it looks fine, but when the sender received it, its messed up. The senders are using a variety of email systems and OS's but all have the same issue with some but not all of my emails.

What do you see when you look at the emails in your Sent folder? Are they
messed up too like how the recipients see them? Would it be possible to get
some screenshots from them so that we can have a better idea of how it looks
like?
