weird top margins

[RS Road Runner]

Hi: Occassionally, like right now, the top margin of Word 2000 is forced at
4.6". For awhile it was 9". The page margins are set at .66" and I've tried
to trick it by changing it back and forth.

The only way I can get it to work is to activate a macro, which changes the
margins for my stationary and inserts the date.

I've restarted, done a full shut done, everything. This is really
frustrating. Any ideas?

Is file > page setup > layout > vertical alignment set to anything other
than top?
