Hi

I've noticed that if you type =rand() in Word, you
get "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog."
repeated several times. Does anyone know why this happens
and if there are any other "funny" things?

Thanks

It's sometimes billed as an easter egg; but more likely it was left behind
by the programmers. Actually quite useful if you need a quick way to fill a
document with text to play with, though I wish they'd picked a more
interesting sentence. It takes two optional arguments:

=Rand(n,m)

one is the number of paragraphs you want, the other the number of sentences
per paragraph. (can't remember which is which)
