Weirdo problem - Cant find incoming server

Hello all,

I have a small bus network here with 15 users. They get email via pop (no
exchange). I'm having trouble with one client - When I set up his mail
account and test settings, it fails (cant logon to incoming server)(cant send
test message) I take the same user credentials to a system that is working
properly and the settings work. I can take the user credentials for an email
account that is working (on another client) and configure it on the
malfunctioning client system and it fails.

So we know that, 1. The users credentials are correct (it will work on
another system) and 2. It is not the mail server or ISP. We also know that
the problem is located at the client (other functioning user accounts will
also not work on the clients system)

Is a reinstall of Outlook warranted here? Is there a reg setting I am
missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
