R

Roger Hornsby

You say I can't use Outlook xpress for a mail merge! ##*&*%##. How do I
copy all the contacts from outlook express to text file or csv file? Not
individually I hope - we are talking hundreds here. Any advice would be
greatly appreciated. Roger

Hello Roger.....

As I understand here you are trying to do a mail merge using your outlook
Xpress contacts.

This is easy to do you can follow the steps given below :

1. Open you outlook Xpress
2. Click on file....click on export
3. Select on Address book
4. In Address Book Export Tool ....In box click on second options with says
Text File(comma separated Values)
5. Click on Export
6. In CSV export give file name then click on Browse
7. Note that in Save as type you have Comma Seprated value selected.
8. click on save. Then click on Next
9. You get an options to select fileds that are present in your outlook
Xpress contacts . Click on Box that you want to use in Mail merge.
10. click on Next or finish.
11. Then message appears which says Address Book export process has
completed. click on ok.
12. Close Address book export tool box.
13. You will see csv file on your desktop.

Which you can use as datasource for your mail merge.
