Welsh Language is Default

I have recently upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2007. The installation
has decided that my default language should be Welsh. I have changed the
default with the Language Settings Tool to English (UK), but Outlook and Word
will not allow me to change the default language to English. I can change it
by highlighting the text and setting the language to English.

How can I change the default permanently? Anyone else having this problem?

I have found the solution - elsewhwere in this forum.

There was an entry for Welsh in the Regional and Language Options, Language,
Details. Deleting the Welsh and rebooting solved my problem
