I'm sorry, I didn't specify that the Visio that I wanted to up grade is
Visio 2003 standard. I purchised it from Best Buy. The sales person I talked
to said that they didn't carry the Pro. So they told me but if I bought the
standerard. I could pay on line to get the up grade to the Pro. Visio. Did I
get taken or what.
Whn I go to the up grade it says the soft ware that is eleigible. Is the
older version of the Visio. The 2003 is not on the list. What could do. I
appreciate any help you can give me.

Thank You,

Well Rob I that would be nice . But I don't Know were you have been buying
your software. But stores don't return software with open packages. They will
only exchange it for the same program if it is defictive. So is there any way
that I can up grade my copy of stanard Visio to Pro Visio. Again I was miss
informed buy Best Buy.That I can up grade the Standard 2003 to Pro 2003
Visio. And when I went online that was not the case from the information that
I have found. What can I do?????

Thank You,

You didn't say you opened it. You didn't say that your store wouldn't
take it back. Each time you post, you provide more information. It's
like pealing an onion!

Suggest you contact a specialist software supplier who has expertise and
can meet your needs to ask their advice. Specifically ask them if you
an upgrade as you want, and confirm with them that if they say it is ok
and in fact it isn't you can return the software for full credit.

I guess since you refer to BestBuy you are in the USA as they area just
local USA-based corporation. I don't have any recommendations for
USA-based specialty software vendors. It's been a long time since I
ordered software from a US vendor. The ones I can think of no longer
seem to be findable via the Internet.

Grey Matter http://www.greymatter.com/ in the UK is the sort of company
you need to get on the phone with and ask their advise.

Why not just go buy a copy of Visio Pro and be done with it.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
